Yes it is..... had to change half the team in one window pretty much, no forward planning

Years of spending little as possible.... no depth......injury prones players..... the usuals

One window doesn't make up for it especially when they've caused this after years of being tight cunts and then oh look left everything to be done at once and resorted in loads of changes.. team a mess....still lacking in areas because we still had to sell sell sell.... no wonder we're in the mess we're in...

Like I said I hope i'm proven wrong I really do, but can't see us winning one of the biggen's under FSG again.

Klopp carried them, open your eyes..... they're tight cunts, or have been.

Ask yourself why Klopp left when he did, go on like I said could've stayed one more season at least.... I suppose it was completely because he was "tired"... more like seeing into the future after years of neglect and our best players past it, he knows what he was doing.

Swap Nyoni/Jones for Wirtz and Rio at LW and that's the depth chart (at least in my head). The glaring holes are at LW and at CB.
Why’s he lining up 433 when Slot changed from playing it

It is all about the shit system and style of play

That system will not work in the Prem look at how every other team plays it was a complete non starter

Our best bet is to get in a manager who plays 433 as we were successful playing for 10 years and get back to doing that and recruit for that as we should have in the summer

Again Diaz and Nunez didn’t need selling

        Robbo didn’t need freezing out

        Bradley needed to stay fit

We didn’t actually need Wirtz he was bought specifically for the new way of playing Slot dreamed up We didn’t need 2 No9’s

That’s 240m we spent in 2 players we didn’t need extra 140 to spend in a CB and Semenyo

It was pretty much agreed by everyone that at least 2 of the of the players you mentioned needed to be replaced.

I’m with Kev on this - slightly different take but It’s from the top. I don’t think Slot is a top level manager though. Anyone says to me he won he title - I say sure he did - but how do we know Amorim or Gerrard wouldn’t have done the same in the same situation? Team was handed over on a plate. He made some clever tweaks which preserved the fitness - got a ton more from Grav in putting him at DM - and the rest had much to do with fortune,

The screw up since wining it is imo more on ‘Hedwards’ and their whims and keenness to move the club away from any claim that it was still essentially Klopp’s team. That successes - the major success were down to the work of the great German.

I don’t believe for one second Slot had anything more than tentative involvement in who we bought. I am sure his choice of not fielding players last season determined the fate of some but I don’t believe Slot is sanctioning Diaz sale without direct replacement - if such a thing exists… I don’t believe Slot was happy NOT to land a senior CB and I don’t believe slot was ok that we still haven’t landed a 6.

            just my own hunch

Nunez and Robbo I’m guessing not by me

Long term replacement for Robbo yes phase Kerkez in best done with the team playing the same way it had for 10 years then everything else is working

Nunez was a very handy play his goal and assist return was a bit better than Gakpo’s I believe when I checked

He pressed like a man possessed and caused chaos in the oppositions defence Miles better player to bring in chasing a goal than anything we currently have

Isak played in a pressing and counter pressing team at Newcastle in a 433, why are we buying him to try and play differently?

He’s looked like a fish out of water because he has been

Waiting to a sign Umpalumpa on a free in Summer I take it instead of getting one now (CB) even if we're desperate..... lets do everything in one window again and no doubt still be lacking because there's too much to do, due to years of neglect

Get out, noone can compete with others under this lot.

Roll on watching Gakpo and a aging stropping Salah next season on the wings, or Chiesa.. Roll on the midfield not existing and no no6

                This means more.

Any other club would be signing a CB or sorting something, never mind a attacker too, pretty much every top club in top half at least, but nope not us, they've had long enough to sort it & and everyone else involved can fuck off too.

Carried by Klopp FSG.... end of the road, we only go backwards now... thank you and goodbye but time to sell up, so we can go up a level and compete again.

They’re obviously not backing a manager and sporting director and wasted all that money with it not delivering results

Sacking them and backing the new manager would be the right course of action

Like they didn 't back Klopp much for years in the transfer windows you mean?

luckily for them, we got some gems, and coutinho money.

Numerous times with Klopp we was forced to play kids, and squares in round holes n all that....... one of the biggest clubs in the world ffs.

they didn't act quick enough then, and it's the same story, time and time again

They did the sane to Kenny we he spunked a load of Carroll and Downing who didn’t deliver

But he didn’t rip up a title winning way of playing doing it at least

if we don't get top5, they need to go.

                        For a number of reasons

                        Lack of action is one

like i've said we're winning no league again with them, face the facts, open your eyes.

They've took us far as they can, and I thank them, but they're not the future lads. if they are, be happy for fighting for champs league football again, every season and blame Slot.

As long as the club is making substantial amounts of money, FSG are going nowhere. The only way that changes is if a mega rich oil state offers FSG a ludicrous amount of money to buy the club, and does anybody really want us to take that path?

Funny that though, see arsenal city- trying best to win the league in Jan Semenyo Guehi

what do we do ? sign someone for the summer even though we're in a shit situation.

they're milking the club, have done under Klopp years- I reckon Klopp could've won so much more.... it's depressing.

Not only that, we're not bringing enoiugh through, youth wise- the setup we spent enough on it? Set piece coach we got??? yet we was worst in the league at them? think we've got better since he's gone by the way.

There's a lot that needs to be improved, imo.

I honestly, also don't think the manager has full control over transfers, which is always a recipe for disaster.

We’re in a shit situation because of the manager our mistake was not replacing him in October

See he’s altered his over passing style last few games to stay in a job but he keeps trying to go back to it with disastrous consequences

He was even prattling on about style being more important than trophies at his last presser showing he is still refusing to accept that utter garbage he served up for 20 games won’t work and was fucking shit, a massive downgrade on our football of the Nast 10 years
