To explain for CD - Toon should have been at least 2 up before we scored. We were nowhere in the game.
The 2 Hugo goals changed everything. Toon unbelievably went in behind. Second half after an another poor start to the half we steamrollered them.
I was being sarcastic.
I know and realize we were probably gash in that first 25-35 minutes before Hugo's goal.
It was just a cheeky commentary on how the goal itself probably turned the game on its head (as well as his second goal), and gave the team a lift to get us playing how we should have been playing from the off.
'I got told there's an English phrase, 'You don't win trophies with kids'. I didn't know that' ... - Jurgen Klopp
Stone-Cold Savage!
Imagine Wirtz with a player like diaz and a proper no6 think we do need one going forward.
if we're playing wirtz further forward, it's only natural we need 2 players that can put in a tackle behind him or one proper DM at least , Grav-Maca-a new DM.... problem is where does Szob fit in?
In the near future I can see Jones leaving, but not yet.
Also get konate's contract sorted, could do without needing 2 cbs in the near future, would be amazing if we got a boss attacker outwide with wirtz and Hugo.

Great ball from Jerkez for Ekitike’s second he was poor for their goal though, need to step to not get megged half a yard quickly bringing following foot
Don’t thry teach them that
Also with Ali just make an angle for him give them a small area of the goal to aim at
"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”
What is going on with the site BTW. Can barely get in now.
Feels like it’s going to keel over
Yeah it's going downhill has been for a while randomly can't go on or very laggy sometimes, happens often it's very strange, what's it run on?
Not being funny but it's not exactly a modern forum it's like it's from the 1990's can't take that much power, but it's left not cared about there's no mod or anything, is what it is
Will be a shame when it goes and lose touch with everyone, well most people it would be a shame anyway.
Yeah I wouldn't mind a supporters option, don't think it should be forced.
if it helped get it upgraded a bit too, but I think this forum is linked to a server with other clubs forums too, I don't think lfconline is a independant forum, if that makes sense, not sure how to explain.
I believe "Footiemad" are the hosts, and this is one forum not sure if there's more still.
So upgrading it, or whatever would be very hard if not impossible to do, because it's not independant, I looked on a few others on there it's all the same format, would be interesting to see if they've had issues or it's just this forum.

Looking at the above, most of them forums are not active, not been on every one but just spammed with footymad articles mainly about whatever club the forum is.
So I assume this is the only active one.
I think they've been pretty much forgotten about apart from here, I'm not sure how much say gary has and it's actually his forum, or he just looks after it.
Never know maybe someone on here is a IT freak and could set a new one up, but I doubt it, and people wouldn't leave anyway until it dies here and they're forced, I don't really want to but.... might not have a option.

Great to see him with what looked a very sincere, congratulatory hand-clap for Hugo and the rub of the hair after. A cynic may call them token gestures, but it looked very sincere - "you did great out there" vibes when, as a striker who will be competing with Hugo in future, it would be easy to imagine him somewhat jealously slunken deep into the chair wishing it were him.

Indeed, a very good point
I often wonder if Hugo could be good at LW, he's got the quality for it, and the right attributes.. but could he track back? I don't really want to move him there either if he's not that effective obviously no9 is currently his own, but it's the only way I can see both getting into the team, unless we change formation to something that's not very common and probably for a reason in the prem.
Booooooom get the fucking FUCK in FT 4-1 up the bum job done baws deep no kissing
We HAVE TO keep playing like that Wirtz starting in the midfield 3 moving into the pockets arriving into the space joining the strikers and linking with them
But play with the tempo intensity directness and variation
Press and counter press and directing each other was much better tonight
Szobo at right back? He was immense too, and the midfield worked better even though he’s been our best midfielder
As ever all the focus on continuing to improve on everything we have the last 2 games and on the next game and getting the win
What were you watching? Wirtz was playing as a 10 all night.
The set up was the same as it has been most of the season.
The first 45 mins could have been highlights of any of our games this season.
2nd half, was far, far better. The passed the ball much quicker and the two 8s didn't get caught nearly as often too far forward.
