but i just think we all need a bit of perspective lads, yeah this season has been a bit shit, but we've changed half the team..... huge changes..... Jota dying..... god bless him, it's not a normal season at all.

I get why people are frustrated though, going from winners... spending what we did...... to have less depth and fighting for top 5, which i'm sure we'll get by the way, I reckon it'll be us and chelsea- utd will be in the europa next season.

Just no more fucking injuries for the love of christ.

Because I have known you for so long now Kev, I never get offended by anything you might post on here. I know you post from the heart and often shoot from the hip but that’s fine, we all go off on one now and again.

I never think there’s any ulterior motive in anything you say, just your opinion mate, crack on.

As mostly a lurker on here, I would say I appreciate your brutal honesty in this thread. I think it's good to clear the air. There's been a lot of sniping on the forum and a lot spam-posting, if we could call it that, lately. This forum has been great over the years and the recent thread asking about when we joined etc. was great and showed how valuable it's been. Personally I prefer a smaller forum as it's more personal. There's always been valuable insights here and even though people disagree vehemently with each other that's what makes for discussion. The only thing I would say is that it should be done with respect. It doesn't need to be personal sniping etc. Personally if someone's posts really irritate me or I find them unhelpful, I just put them on the ignore list. Problem solved.

There's a couple of lads I stuck on "ignore" as they wouldn't stop arguing with each other back in March or so of 2025 and it had already been going on for weeks and I just wanted to unplug from seeing it in every single thread.

Judging by the messages I get about posters on my ignore list, it would appear they still go at it from time to time.

Do I miss their views? Occasionally. Do I miss how they conduct a conversation? Absolutely not.

Definitely one of the better features of the forum.

I think I am pretty "moderate" with the usage of the feature, but occasionally it's a lesser-of-two-evils situation for me.
