  • Do NOT drop off

Simple as, we don’t have players who are good at trying to sit back and defend a lead, they are all front foot defenders and pressing players our best means of defence is to play our game, press and counter press and pick up man for man and look to play in their half and pick up really well to stop any counters through quickly counter pressing to win the ball back if we lose it

Take off pressure too, use the switches and cross field balls don’t try to be too cute if we’ve condensed play into one side especially our left it should be one back insta switch to Mo Grav or our RB

We really need to get back at this as the dropping g off has been going us wrong, the above is what we’re a lot better at

Play to your players strengths innit pick up make sure you’re quick to close down and stop transitions or long ball counters

Get back to playing nearly all the game in the opposition half get comfy with it again and squeeze them until the pips come out

Hah haaaaaah 😂 honestly get that picking up and press on from the forwards, dominate possession but stay in great counter pressing positions nick it back quickly and second balls and attack like lightning before they’re set

Need that tomorrow best way to stop their danger man Brobby is starving him of service

Love to see us smothering sides in their own half crating chances scoring squeezing them until the oops cone out

Makes us very hard to stop or best done right best bet for the kind of run we need

Do one someone has to defend the grannies and so many other Liverpool fans and pundits here and I am that man

Have a look at fan interviews coming out of the ground what Steve Nicol had to say

I might be in a minority here but I’m in the vast majority of Liverpool fans and pundits in seeing interviewed, Owen and Macca also not happy with the dropping off

I’ve been calling it since it started

When you’ve got players bought to play a front foot game or from playing it you play that game

Kerkez shite with the ball here, pretty decent at Bournemouth why?

Front foot, play into a player get released put quality delivery in, no fannying about trying to make him an all singing all dancing 5 yard tappy crappy and manipulator of space let him grow in doing it sinple and direct

Football isn’t complicated we have front foot attacking players who can squeeze the life out if opposing teams that’s what we need to do

Much better tonight, passed out intelligently and looked to get upfield and seal the win playing in their half Robbo’s experience at LB in all areas and phases made a huge difference

                    Improved again v Brighton

Say what you like we’re getting better at this again, not hoofing it to come straight back v Sunderland and Brighton is great improvement
