If he stays fit Danns could stay as a young back up attacker. Not sure he should go on loan as he’s just coming back from a very long lay off. Has genuine talent, a real prospect if he can stay fit.

Liked what I saw of Danns too , but can't help but think that hoping for him to be regularly fit might be akin to the fingers we cross for Joe Gomez.

I wouldn’t dismiss it out of hand. At some point we have to try and bring in and develop. Rio’s biggest issue is That he plays where Slot’s nephew does

Did he play left wing before he joined us ? I thought he was more a number 9 .

The longer Slot stays, the more likely it is that the likes of Rio and our better players start looking to go elsewhere.

De Zerbi for me but FSG won’t go near him given he left his last 2 jobs after them not backing continued improvement and selling star players

Pretty sure he was a LWF but had played quite a bit at CF, whether through choice or to cover injuries I don’t know. I know he had played well at LWF for the Nether Regions.

I was thinking about this after watching the 2nd half of the City game. Anderson's game has come on since the U21s in the summer.

But Wharton is a better 'footballer'.

Anderson has more energy / drive but he's typically 'English'

Think I'd still go for Wharton.

I said at the end of last season that we should have just given Palace £150m for Wharton, Guehi and Eze.

Konate is gone. We need to accept that. We have lost half our backline on free transfers. Virgil has a year left on his contract. We probably need 2 more CBs in the summer. Unless we are relying and Virgil and 2 kids.

Robertson will also leave on a free and eventually virgil will. All 4 of our defence gone on a free. And Allison will probably leave for free also. Wow, all 5 of our winning defence will leave for free. Mad to think about it.

It would make sense to give robertson a one year contract and hopefuly konate to sign new contract.
Then buy a DM and replacements for salah & gapko.selling salah,gapko,chiesa,gomez and one from mac or jones.bring back harvey elliot and would be a perfect window.
