Always said I’m with Slot as long as he keeps the style

I pitched him as the continuation and evolution candidate the evolution I expected was the work with our full backs doing better in the box that was never done with Trent and Robbo as both could have been getting 5-10 goals each a season

And having our mids score more and use the switches cross fields and diagonals more now we finally have 3 mids capable of playing them to the necessary standard

None of that needed another 10, he had a winning system in which the full backs hadn’t been a developed as thry could be and had only had Hendo in midfield who could play the switches and diagonals

Suddenly we had the lot, to break down all teams all he had to do was knit it together but he cooked up a pipe dream he’d never even played as a manager instead

If you must Steveo please go and litter one of his threads with this crap

You’re doing precisely what he wants you to, I thought you smarter than that

I know didn’t think it was that serious. But you’re right - knackered after the drive and straight back to work today.

Despite what you claim I’m not doing this on threads

I talk about the press and counter press a lot on threads it is relevant to, after games it is relevant to, funny you don’t complain when I compliment Wirtz in doing it well, how odd

I asked you 19x on another thread to break down teams on their ability to chose the right ball. Not the long ball or the short ball. The right ball.

                            But you bottled it.
