I was just writing about him coming in at Southampton in 18-19 and changing the game and stopping those counters we’d been conceding down our right that had led to too many draws
Don’t know if anyone’s still here who’d remember me calling for him to come in at RCM to do that before it happened, but I did, I even gave the examples of when he’d played RM fit Kenny and Rodgers
It was a bit of a moment in here back then on the match thread as everyone was made up Hendo was out of the team for Fab and when he came on at HT they were like “Oh here we go, here’s your man Hendo” thrn he did pretty much exactly what I said he would and the rest is history
