  • Pre-Match: Nottingham Forest v Liverpool Sunday 22nd Feb

Forest up next. They have just sacked Dyche and appointed Pereira. He is their 4th manager this season

As for us we have a bit of momentum going into this match. It's 4 wins in our last 5 games.

I'm not expecting any of our long term injuries to be back but it is good to have Gomez available.

    Injured:

    Frimpong
    Bradley
    Leoni
    Endo
    Isak

    Alisson

    Gomez Konate VvD Kerkez

    Slobo Grav Wirtz

    Salah Ekitike Gakpo

This thread is for adults capable of discussing the fixture. I will be posting updates as they happen.

There is a kiddies version of the pre match thread available for those who want to have a moan. Don't do it here.

Forset travel to Fenerbache the Thursday before this game. That must give us a big advantage. Really fancy us to win this one.

No slip ups now, let's win the next 4.. yes I know no game is easy but on paper.. it doesn't get much easier. unless we was at home for the next 4 fixtures, but only at home to west ham.

lets get above utd again... get a foothold in the top 5

Isak must be close to a return you'd think? Been nearly 8 weeks since his injury.

Yea I seen pics of him back in training. Last I heard was a return in March, maybe toward the end of the month. We might see a little of him before the season ends. I imagine they'll be careful with him.

Doesn't look like Frimpong will be ready for this game. He needs at least another week.

Now I like that train of thought.

Would depend what you mean by "close" but relatively speaking, yes.

If he is doing light running in trainers then I'd say we will see him kicking a ball with boots on by mid-March and would think he starts a game early April.

If it's quicker than that then happy days, obviously.

Good grief. Forest win 3-0 away at Fenerbache. That's the worst possible outcome. They'll come into our game full of confidence.

I still fancy us to win it but things just got a lot more difficult.
