Seems Man-cheaty can do whatever the fuck they want in the transfer market. Even after 3 years of being charged with enormous amount of rule breaking.
Semenyo already proving a good buy. God knows why we weren't interested in signing him. He's a very good player.

It's because we've got idiots in charge of transfers and the purse strings, idiots who don't have a coherent and well thought out transfer strategy.

How long have we needed to sort out our defensive issues? Too long. How long did we wait before trying to sign Guehi? Too long. Did we need to buy two strikers who want to play in the same position and a very expensive attacking midfielder more than we needed to address other areas? Certainly not.

Yep - but they don’t fill me with confidence. Scraped past the Toon who were thousands of miles away playing Carrier Bag - scraped past Leeds.

All they needed to do - 3 points is 3 points.

That clash against Arsenal is at the Etihad as well. It'll be an intriguing one, especially if Man City win the League Cup.

I don't think Arsenal are going to suddenly hit a catastrophic run of form at any point, but if the "potential Quad" balloon gets popped then the nerves are bound to kick in - and will they be able to handle them?

Yep. i think its more wait and see for the summer now, and we weren't interested in signings in January.. Same with Marc Guehi. no chance of getting him. last month.

That Thiago looks a player at Brentford.. he'll go for big money to a top team soon (no disrespect to Brentford). We don't need a centre forward though.

CF is the one position that actually doesn’t need any additions

Whatever the result today between Man United and Crystal Palace, we should see some value from improving our goal difference by +3 yesterday, unless Man United have a goal-fest.

Disgrace of a decision. Kavanagh couldn't wait to send him off.
