When does Mamardashvili get a go by the way? Allison has been average most of the time, maybe we'll see more of Mamardashvili before planned..

He's a nice fella, but woefully out of his depth. Should have been sacked when he was setting other terrible records earlier in the season.Originally posted by teesred View PostI'd hazard a guess they do better.
He's ruined a good team. There's nothing at all to suggest we should stick with him, imagine going I to next season with him as the manager. Fuck me.
I can't remember the football being as bad as this for so long under any Liverpool manager.
An interim manager coming in surely couldn't do much worse than this.

Gakpo false 9 my arse. Shouldn't be on the pitch but we don't really have a replacement who is fit enough for 90 minutes.Originally posted by Nineteenx View PostHe should have put Ekitije LFWD & Gakpo false 9 Ekitike was getting no joy against 3 CBsThere's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

I hear ya - feels rock bottom after that.Originally posted by jozza800 View PostThe teams in and around us will definitely drop points, no worries on the side.
Problem is I wouldn't back us to beat an egg.
But 10-2 on aggregate in the 4 matches prior, after the Man City game.
Let's assume, worst-case-scenario, Chelsea beat Villa tomorrow.
We'd be level on points. Chelsea have only managed to be "as good as" us DESPITE us being pretty poor for large chunks of the season.
So I am still keeping some Faith (albeit it ain't easy) that we can beat them in what will essentially be a 9-game League after tomorrow night.
Unless Brentford do something wild - and if they do, fair f*cks to them - we won't have deserved it.
Right now though, I think we are squeaking 5th spot. Hopefully we can arrive at that Chelsea match in May with a 1-point lead over them, then beat them at Anfield (deflection off Chiesa's arse please) to give us a 4-point lead going into the last few games.

Second one Joe turns his back on a tame effort and deflects it past him"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

Sounds familiar. Any manager should still be doing a lot better with the players we have though.Originally posted by miller0863 View PostWe needed a 6, we bought Wirtz. We needed to keep two LWF’s so we sold one and we desperately need a CB … and we didn’t buy one.
But apart from that it all went very well 🙄
