Part of the issue is Slot not playing 3 up top and not having the runners in behind to go long when we’re being pressed aggressively to make teams back off

What could he have done for the first goal? Other than not pass to Konate who has a mare trying to control it.

The cross was deep to the back post which a keeper would never come for.

He had to cover the near post in case the opponent gets a header in that direction. He’d be getting pelters if he got beat there.

Then that left him isolated and dependent on his defence helping him out. Which Konate failed miserably at with a feeble attempt at suggesting he was pushed.

I know Konate is one of ”your men” but he was shite and has been for the most past this season.

He does command the area, or cone for crosses

Alisson probably firsts that cross away before it reaches their lad

Konate was weak it was over his head anyway but we twice let them get easy crosses in from our right

Konate will go in the summer.. The club rightly won't offer him huge wages that he wants..Frankly he doesn't deserve it. So instead of accepting it, He'll go some place who'll pay him the wages he requires.
I can't see Madrid going in for him personally. they've been burned with TAA.. hes not a good defender at RB.
the only club at the top of the tree in Europe willing to offer him high wages is PSG. otherwise to get the wages he wants, he'll have to choose a lesser standard of club.

Just read an interview with Abigail Rudkin from the Anfield wrap. She's saying that it feels like there's no way back for him now and that it just feels like a mess.
He doesn't have a connection with the fans,even last season it didn't feel that way to me which may sound like hindsight. The managers who've been peddled in recent years have suffered this fate aside from Kenny obviously.
