We played the weakest side in the league and did well not to loseOriginally posted by Nineteenx View PostAnd how many chances did we have in the counter when we should have put one on a plate to make it 2-0?
Gakpo was good and really pressing and fighting he shouldn’t have been taken off
Szobo was really poor for their goal but it was avoudabke altogether by pressing
the fact we were on the counter so often tells you who was the main threat.

Yep it was clear by the end of October his attempt to reinvent the wheel was a disaster yet he was hell bent on persisting with it and that is when I said he had to goOriginally posted by teesred View PostThis is what gets me about anyone still advocating for him.
What is there to suggest this will change even when he gets players back? It won't make a difference, he serves up turgid bland shite week in week out.
We needed a 433 manager brought in to get that automation shake and pattern into our play"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

From my opening post
“That line up is so unbalanced and lacking in any sort of physicality, this is the Premier League ffs
Good job Spurs are missing so many. Still look dangerous up front mind.“
It looked a terrible line from the minute it was announced, the manager picks the team, coaches them and gives them the tactics .. well allegedly gives them tactics to play to but I haven’t seen any evidence of it this season.
Utterly appalling yet so obviously predictable"I am the Normal One."

We simply didn’t need Wirtz or 2 No9’s and not replacing or keeping Diaz and Nunez and strengthening our wide attacking players has killed us
And the idiots plan is not to play with any"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

That's what is genuinely worrying, it's not a new thing. We've been giving up points to so called inferior sides all season. You'd look at the way we play and call us inferior, we are fucking dreadful to watch.Originally posted by Steveo View PostWe played the weakest side in the league and did well not to lose

We made them look good. We are in a situation now that's becoming damaging in my opinion, playing awful football with a manager who is like a vacuum in terms of positivity. He's fucking ruined a good thing.
I just do not see how any fan can be supporting this crap anymore. The defining moments in our lives are never planned.

I saw spurs mentally collapse at home v Palace. It must've been something similar in Madrid. You just knew we would make them look solid, resolute and have more energy and desire than us. We are shit. The players are worse than the manager.
Is Rio any good? I think he has a trick but no intelligence.
Wirtz has been praised but surely for the money we should be getting more.
MacAllister is spent.
Nyoni comes on and surprise surprise he's another light-weight midget.
Spurs squad ripped to shreds but the depth to it is far better than ours.
On top of all this Arsenal could get a domestic treble. Big ears should be beyond them. The only upside to a dreadful season.
God knows how we get out of this mess

I've previously said that if we somehow manage to win the CL it will be despite Slot, not because of him. With that being the case, and as harsh as some might think it to be, even if we win the CL I think Slot should be given the boot.Originally posted by sydenham red View PostCan only assume the CL is keeping him in the job. Dont think the FAC will be enough to save him and it'll be an upset to knock city out A. It could all be over by Thursday
