I see us sacking him if look like we are drifting towards being mathematically out of CL race which may not become apparent until it's too late, as in after the Utd Chelsea or Villa games in May. It's as if Arne has been told it's a 2 year rebuild (starting June 2025) and he can have us serving up dogshit until Aug 2027 and his job is safe. Cos that's the attitude that's oozing out of the whole place

He stood out because we kept giving him the ball, he didn’t produce or create anything though it’s just a marker of how poor we’ve. been in attacking like that because Slit wanted to play differently, same reason we’re poor at finishing off simple counter attacks he also knocked on the head, we’re out of practiceOriginally posted by Steveo View PostPut this lad in a Klopp team and he is ripping it up. But with this dross even star players look turgid. Slots game is killing the players and the Anfield atmosphere"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

Who else did? Did our senior CF? What about anyone else? Dom only scores because Vicario had a mare.
Be fair he is playing in an awful Liverpool side this season. No invention - Slow turgid interplay - Rio was the only one doing the right things. Another player doing that today and we win
And why did we keep giving the ball? Because he was the ONLY threat. But he was doubled up on. He’s 17.

He needed to go end of Ictober as @Tees points out we haven’t looked like improving or the way he wanted to play working his press conferences give away he still believes he’s right and it just isn’t working because he doesn’t have Ekitike and Isak both availableOriginally posted by sydenham red View PostI see us sacking him if look like we are drifting towards being mathematically out of CL race which may not become apparent until it's too late, as in after the Utd Chelsea or Villa games in May. He kept coming in instead of keeping the width
He beat a player about twice
Gakpo was up for the game and played well, Macca too, Nyoni was good when he came on
The knee jerk of benching Konate was stupid Gomez hugely at fault for the late goal just as he was v Wolves he shouldn’t be anywhere near CB"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

That was his Premier league starting debut. benching Konate who was utter gash the other night BTW has nowt to do with Rio,
These are the facts and why the Kop and stadium stood to applaud him… Rio was miles better in his first Prem start on that wing than Cody has been all season. Had the others turned up his tormenting of the Spurs defensive right side would have led to goals.
Misjudged and misconstrued- watch Cody for one glaring chance - what’s him again on several occasions and this is a seasoned senior….
Was Rio perfect? - no - did he score? - no.. But you are being hard in the extreme

Both Konate and Gomez shouldn't be anywhere near being a starting CB for us, whilst VVD needs a kick up the backside, that is of course if he is still up to the task and not on the wane as is the case with Salah.
If we're going to keep having issues with players because of issues such as fasting or playing in International tournaments whilst the league season is still ongoing, maybe we should either not buy such players to begin with, or we assemble a large, good to top quality squad who can provide adequate cover when these players are missing. I certainly can't see the latter happening under the stewardship of FSG and Edwards.

Still nothing like what we need it was ridiculous to sell Diaz at all never mind not replace him and try and move away from wide forward playOriginally posted by Steveo View PostCome on mate - this is ridiculous.

Mos out of form because of the changes abd he does have a Diaz LFWD arriving him more time and space so we’re missing Mo’s goals and assists and we’re missing Diaz’s
In the 2025/2026 season for Bayern Munich, Luis Díaz has been in excellent form, registering 20 goals and 13 assists across 35 matches in all competitions. In the Bundesliga specifically, he has recorded 14 goals and 11 assists in 24 appearances
Selling him Whrn in the form of his career because Slot thought he could reinvent the wheel"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

They are all lacking match fitness because Slot again knew better and lowered the intensity of training to stop injuries and tried to lower the intensity of our game not based on proven science based on his ideasOriginally posted by RedMagic View PostBoth Konate and Gomez shouldn't be anywhere near being a starting CB for us, whilst VVD needs a kick up the backside, that is of course if he is still up to the task and not on the wane as is the case with Salah.

And it’s been a monumental fail
All our players now need a proper pre-season"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

Totally agree - and he won’t be there for a good year or two at best…. but seriously Diaz wouldn’t have been nearly good enough either at 17.Originally posted by Nineteenx View PostStill nothing like what we need it was ridiculous to sell Diaz at all never mind not replace him and try and move away from wide forward play
