  • As brilliant that performance was last night the thing that annoys me the most is, where have they Been all season ?
We actually out run our opponents which seems like the first time since Spurs last season.

    • I think the shape really helped him last night, escpecially in the 2nd half.

We were pretty close to the diamond or 4321. Mo played alot more centrally.

      Frimpong - Konate - VVD - Kerkez
      Szobo - Grav - Mac
      Wirtz
      Salah - Ekitike

Nobodys saying extend his contract, this season slot has to get the best out of the players he has, formation change is number one but playing salah in and around box instead out on the touchline is another.
Absolutely, Slot does. The point still stands though. If you watch it back, he screwed up loads of attacks again as he's done most of the season. However, a few came off against a poor Galatasaray team. The big difference was the attitude from the whole team and manager. Repeat that and we could have a good end to the season.

I thought that too. Shows what they're capable of.
We are much better what we did last night than the slow boring pragmatic crap he's tried and failed to implement. Why has it taken toll now for him to figure that out is anyone's guess.

I don't think he'd figured anything out - at least last night at the time. Thats a CL game under the lights at Anfield.

The crowd and the players need very little in the way of encouragement. The play acting from the Turks got the fans angry - Then Slot's emotional outburst up and down the line... (finally) and it kick started the High intensity.. That's what I saw

Hopefully the Dutch Pancake eater WATCHES it back and works it out.

Good point. European nights when we need to turn it on are usually a different story.
We'll find out on Saturday lunchtime if it's a one off or if our dinner gets spoiled.
