I expected something after the champions league match, scores his 50th CL goal ,fans singing his song and he asks to come off, salah never asks to come off and he looked emotional not injured, down the tunnel away from the cameras.
Some people dwell on loss and the past and i think jota's death still hurts him,he said at the time he could'nt face anfield without jota there.
He was also close to tsimikas and nunez who also left,he must look round changing room and miss so many faces and now sees a bunch of strangers including manager and knows his time is up.
He can be a emotional man and not sure hiw he's going to cope with his final games as a red.

There's no doubt he leaves as a club legend. His record speaks for itself. It's a shame this season has bee this way and it looks like he's lost that x-factor. The way he behaved leaves a bad taste but will be ultimately forgotten and as many have said we couldn't have let him go last summer or there would have been a riot. I think this is best for the club and Mo. Maybe he will find a style of play that suits him elsewhere which will allow him to clock up some more goals. That would be good to see but I think Liverpool need to start rebuilding now around the new players and hopefully some more new signings this summer.

I hear you - but - who would doubt it..? Strange to even mention it.

As for how HE behaved - why would anyone simply swallow the sports media baloney - fed by FSG PR ? Do any of you know what he was promised? I know I don’t. Are we honestly believe that he was held on the bench v Leeds because Arne wanted to do that? really..? Are we going to simply accept that crap? You trust a fraud like Carra with clear links to hierarchy? A look after number one merchant media shill who spits from his car…?

Mo’s comments on being Thrown under the bus ring true for me. If any of you trust Edwards or Hughes or Henry - over Mo… Fill yer boots.

When Saudi money was waved he stayed - in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Had he not - we wouldn’t be back on our perch again.

One of the all time greats, who by all accounts trained better and looked after his body better than every other player except Jimmy Milner.

His constant availability over the years despite having to trek over to Africa to play every five minutes is a testament to his total and complete dedication to the cause.
I also believe he genuinely got the city, the fans and the club from day one. Mutual love and total respect throughout his stay.

But above all, what f**kin player!!!

                Amen.. An unbreakable bond...

The Kop will make their feelings for the man known.. They love him to bits as he loves them
And the bond between the Kop and Salah isn't just about the goals... it's a great point - bang on - that reliability Miller mentions. In an era where players miss months with "niggles," Salah was a machine. As rightly pointed out, his dedication to his body and his availability- even with the brutal AFCON schedule - was nothing short of legendary.

We'll have to wait for the auto-biographies to come out in a few years! :-) I've no idea what's gone on but nothing would surprise me these days.

Indeed, but I'd wager that the folks managing the clubs PR and feeding the stories to the press - are about as trustworthy as 'Jokestrap'n-Kev'

This is a confirmation that Jurgen Era are coming to the end, only left Virgyl, Alison and Robertson. Yeah Gomez are here too but he spend more time on the injury room than on the field.
What a pleasure watch Salah and that front three with Firmino and Mane but like in life everything have an end. This season like our squad Salah struggle, his peak years for Premier League intensity are bahind him, he could do a job on Spanish League or Bundesliga but now we have to face the reality, he are struggle and next season could be worse and we are paying a lot for his services.
Thank you for all the memories MO, you always will be a legend for this football club.

What do we think he's got left? Going out in blaze of glory and flurry of goals!? Or a meek continuation of this season's form!?

It would be brilliant if we could get the the former between now and the end of the season.

Whatever he does, and no matter his performances and numbers this season it wont diminish in way what a phenomenal player he has been for us.
