The ball had to be played at pace to make sure…in hindsight he could have played the ball with less pace and it still might have made it - but Olise went with the wrong foot - all he has to do is collect it with his right and not go with his left.., Diaz is controlling that and scoring,

This is where going to games can be a big help

Diaz was superb throughout - so was Olise

2:1 a great result away at the bernebeu

Captain Black's set piece FC sneaked a 1-0 win at Sporting. That should be them through.
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

They could do this all the way to victory and lift the trophy...

I would be using this as the motivation for our players.

Arse winning that leg means the Prem gets the fifth CL spot. There's a faint hope we can do it.
          I did say faint.

Thinking from a "styles makes fights" perspective that typically gets used more in regards to Boxing, I think I would rather Arsenal face Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals than Barcelona - assuming that Arsenal progress.

Excellent work from Bayern Munich tonight to win at the Bernabeu and although a number of the shots were directly at him, Neuer rolled back the years somewhat - think he had to make 9 saves in the end.

Great post from el pardon on BBC’s Idiotic targeting article of Trent.

                Alternatively:

Alexander-Arnold generated the highest xT gain of any player on the pitch 2.859 and led all players with eight ball recoveries. His 16 progressive passes were the third-most in the match, and it was his cross that Mbappé turned in for Madrid’s goal. With 105 touches, he was one of Madrid’s most involved players all night.

And they all wonder why we still wait for an English Premier league winning manager.
