Really poor passive second half yet again
It feels like Slot set them up to come out of the half and defend that 2-0 lead rather than to tryi to get another and finish the game off.

    That's just his calling card.
Protect a lead at the half or late in games rather than be front-footed and proactive in tryi to finish off games or control them.

A better team thatn Fulham would have seen them equalize and possibly even taken the lead with that attitude we were playing with.

A vital three points. A good first half followed by a disjointed second half. Rio was MOTM. Frimpong also had a good game.

Not at our spectacular whatever that is this season. Still we got the job done in the first half. Second half again poor from us. But will take the result.

Hopefully this can give us some momentum. If we goo out of the CL we need to win the remaining games and make the top 5…

              Rio MOTM
The easiest call anyone will make today.

We haven't looked that dangerous and threatening going forward like we did in that first half in a long time, and it was all thanks to his positive play and maurading runs.

Really looking forward to a future with him playing on that wing.

If Slot stays I can see Ngumoah getting itchy feet.

                    Agreed.
Which for me is another big reason why he should be binned.

It's encouraging to hear Rio say during his post-match interview alongside Robbo, that for him he considered Liverpool to be the biggest club in the world.

That he still feels that way and can even say it after a season when he's been unfairly buried on that bench, calms the nerves somewhat.

                    • That's good to hear from Rio, but as the saying goes "actions speak louder than words".
