I doubt we will pay anyone close to what vvd and salah get once they are off the books. For our squad size we pay a lot in salaries. And some of the rumoured prices to buy in top wingers/midfielders are ludicrous. Really need some academy breakthrough to offset that but Arne in his wisdom has only given Rio any time and that seemed begrudgingly. I hear Nyoni is a real prospect but how will we know??

I thought we would seen more of Nyoni this year, especially when you look at some of our performances in midfield.

Konate, when he is on form, is very good. But this year he has had so many basic lapses of concentration or half arsing closing down that he has looked very poor. Maybe the circumstances with his father were affecting him. Right now I would keep him, but only if his wages weren't astronomical. That's just because I fear we are changing too many too fast.

Konate only looked good when Virgil was playing at his best. Now Virgil has fallen off the cliff, Konate has gone mission in action.

I mentioned my concern at the levels of calamity Konate was capable of last March. I watched him single handedly destroy the French back line. He IS capable of playing a dominant game - but also of being the biggest liability going,

          Real Madrid - my arse

He's been absolutely shite for the best part of a year. He can fuck off for free as far as I'm concerned, the useless twat.

The QE2 turns quicker than Konate.. another 1 who got into his head Madrid wanted him.. he should have realize they play stupid games with us. to unsettle our players. If he actually cared for our club. he would have produced better performances. even if he intended to leave. Don't switch off, and play shit for an entire season.

Ohhhhhh,, TAA went to Madrid.. ohhhhh they want me.. Ohhhh Madrid want me. Ohhh. this is Konate and Macca..

Mac Allister has also been cack this season.. Its not fitness its aptitude, Hes old enough to be a leader in the team and should have also shown more desire when playing..been short to every thing this season

Gravenberch needs a rest. and Dom has been our best player , though spent most of his time at right back . so they can be excused.
Never got the hype over Curtis Jones,, Hes the type that will always flatter to deceive.. You saw yesterday even, tried to do a back heel in the fullback area and led to foul on a Chelsea player

From defending the free kick, He did an amazing run forward and looked great. He could have done more breaks of play like that over the season. But hes always wanting to do stupid passes.. We already have someone who does that in Wirzt
Both average at best.. Just one cost an 100 million

Would be ballsy to move Konate on at the present time. We'd be down to Van Dijk, Jacquet, Gomez (if he stays) and Leoni back there, assuming Slot stays and refuses to play Endo, who I think will be sold.

Even though Ibou hasn't been at his very best, I'd feel a bit apprehensive about having to allocate funds on a centre-back and trust Gomez's fitness for depth/cover given we know so little about Leoni and Jacquet (in Red shirts at least) and need all the money we can muster for the wide/forward positions and a DM - I'd love to upgrade Ibou eventually (or better still for him to step up) but we could be shooting ourselves in the foot moving him on.

The whole team needs gutting, from top to bottom. Every signing from last summer, bar Ekitike, has been a disaster. And he's most likely finished now with that ruptured achiles. The rest; virgil, konate, macalister, Jones, gakpo, they're all done. The only ones I'd keep are Szoboszlai and gravenberch. Or maybe the rest will magically improve under a different manager. Or who actually cares, just fuck them all off.

So it appears Konate was lying about his own future.

                      I give up.

                      Robertson
                      Salah
                      Konate

Three more going on a free with a fourth in Alisson having his move blocked after expressing a desire to leave.

The players would run through brick walls for this manager, yeah to get away from him.
