The team looked an unbalanced mess from what I saw (2nd half). Thought they were lucky.

The gaps in midfield are shocking.

You'd bollock an u10s for the amount of space they allow.

Amazing what some pace and a destroyer or Regista would do for this side.

It wouldn't fix everything, but it'd sure help a lot.

...and there's absolutely nothing to suggest that will change for next season.
If he thought it was an issue he'd have surely tried something by now or atleast instructed them to stop piling forward and leaving the defense without any protection?

Honest to God my optimism for next season has gone already with him staying on as manager.

It's not just pushing the midfield forward, 'we've' developed a habit of one or both of the midfielders sat right on top of the centre halves.

Vacating the midfield from both ends of the pitch is impressive...

We're all crying out for a 6, but what's the point of he doesn't set them up correctly.

The thing is, he knows how to do it. Last season's midfield was nicely balanced. I know we've change shape to get Wirtz into the side but he's absolutely mangled the 6 and 8 roles.

If he doesn't / can't fix it, next season will be identical and likely worse than this.

Last season's midfield was still Jurgen's - the way they played and set up.
Everything has changed since Arne and his "team" have fully taken over.
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

Actually of the opinion that jones at rightback and sozbo as one of the 6s has improved us and at last slots getting things right.
Think we will finish season strong, something to build on next season.
