They are in the positions that they are because they are effectively the one club in the biggest city and league of each country, something that affords them a lot more money compared to their 'rivals', a less packed, less demanding schedule, and very little competition.

In the PL a number of those things would no longer be the case.

Would like to withdraw my comparison of a peak Klopp v peak Klopp side. It's more like a peak Klopp side vs us this season now :#

No - and PSG were for eons not the top club in France…Marseille were and this has often been the case.

..and I have this from actual premier league managers - playing at a lower level week in week out is not an aid to get your to your best. See us v Peps - City. Djokovic having to get to GOAT levels to best Federer and nadal.

This is sport - and I tell you now - this PSG side are levels above anything in the Premier league

This PSG would be far far stronger still were they facing the sides in the Premier league - week in week out.

Their weakness - and they don’t have many. - but the ones they have are born of not facing a real test often enough. Complacency in front of goal as we saw often v is last year and this. Soft goals conceded at the other end too.

And Diaz scores a beauty but they rule it offside

                  It’s onside

                  what a player

It's six of one, half a dozen of another. A lack of competition can be both a positive and a negative, but having a less packed, less physically demanding schedule is a positive, never mind having games rescheduled for you, and being bankrolled by a very rich oil state.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

I want Diaz back, Hughes and co were bleeding wrong to get rid of him.

Yes we shall - and to be fair - I do see your point - it has merit. I think you are right to say it works both ways.

but you see here - PSG conceded 4 - this is where I believe against better sides more often then tighten up.

It’s why I fear them in a final v the dark arts Arsenal set piece swines

Are these clubs at such a high level partly because they don't have extremely high competitive games almost every week, and sometimes three games in a week?
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

No as I have said - this is literally the opposite imo. I know it’s tough for the Brit to take but they just have better technique
