That will be on account of it being a release clause - he is contracted until 2030 or something.

Porto understandably wouldn't want to let him go cheap.

There are other options thankfully. Wouldn't be against him, especially as he can play centrally and in a more defensive role (I love utility players) but he wouldn't be in my top 3 picks for midfield or anything.
