Probably... Think he went ott on Thiago and partly to defend Hendo... but 19 was rightly disappointed with eventual output. It wasn't close to what we expected in truth... I was one of his his biggest fans... And I believe he would have been amazing had Klopp been backed sufficiently. We landed that level of player 2 or 3 years too late.. He was physically all but over the hill when we got him at almost 30 and never primed for the Premier league... Put another top class technician around him and we win that quad I am sure.

You'd have to expect Wirtz to come on leaps and bounds with that fella on the coaching staff.

I would absolutely love Milly to join our backroom staff. Fitter than any of the squad a real winner and a great character to have around the training ground and dressing room.

However good we believe Iraola to be, is he enough of a name to a) bring in good new players and b) persuade people like Ali to stay...

He might have a chance of bringing in players like Rayan, Kroupi and Alex Scott

I don't like to make really direct comparisons as they can be taken a little bit more literally than I'd intended, but I feel that getting Iraola in now would be the equivalent of getting "Mainz Klopp" in rather than "Dortmund Klopp".

I think it's going to go well, but it might need a bit of time.

A good yard-stick for us overall though is that despite an "awful" season, we attained Champion's League football (I grant you that we squeaked it....) plus reached the quarter-finals of both the FA Cup and the Champion's League -with us losing to the eventual winners of both competitions.

So if we do improve, we're off to a good start. Feels a bit Houllier-to-Benitez somehow in terms of where I expect our trajectory to go for the next few seasons.

I think he will see out all 4 years of his contract. As to more......time will tell.

Best option out there and a good age for a manager and also managed in the PL

Not on the official website just now.

Does feel imminent the way everyone is talking though
