Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to spend weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. The right-back will miss England’s friendlies against Switzerland and the Ivory Coast this month as well as club fixtures.
“Trent is out with hamstring so he will not be part of England as well,” Liverpool’s manager, Jürgen Klopp, said before his side’s FA Cup quarter-final at Nottingham Forest on Sunday. “No good news so we will see how long that takes.”
