Liverpool are still getting it done despite their huge raft of injuries even if they were a little lucky to beat Tottenham and snatch top spot from José Mourinho on Wednesday. Roy Hodgson will be hugely disappointed the former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is suspended as he has started scoring again since returning to the lineup. Palace’s attack will pose much less of a threat to Jürgen Klopp’s second-string centre-backs without him. Liverpool will more than likely remain top on Christmas Day. Graham Searles
