    Not everyone destroys NZ

Brilliant, better at cricket than football, which is weird considering football is by far the most popular sport.

Finally! An England national team through to a World Cup final! They were superb today, Morgan was faultless as captain, the bowling and fielding was superb, then the batting was superb and continued to be after Roy was incorrectly given out. England absolutely thrashed the Aussies today, they were aided by the Aussies decision to bat first, the conditions and dampness in the pitch giving England's bowlers a fair amount of swing and movement off the pitch in their first 10 overs, when Australia came to bowl, the ball did nothing

What a turnaround after a few dodgy games early on.

        Bit special this england team.

hope we can go onto win it.

All about the bottle now, really hope they can win the final, they are a bit like our team though, great first 11 and aside from midfield, not quite the same dynamic and level of performance if anyone else has to come in, Bairstow strained his groin today, so hopefully, it's just a tweak and he'll be ok for the final. With their best 11 out they are the best team in the tournament

Hope our lads can win the final, they should do, they're a better team, a hell of a lot of luck involved in cricket though, you can be up against it and at a disadvantage just by losing the toss depending on the pitch and conditions.

Like the semi, I think the Aussies chose to bat because England have struggled in the tournament when they've had to chase a total, even mediocre ones, but as it turned out they did England a big favour as the overcast conditions and slight dampness in the pitch gave England a lot of movement for the seamers in the first 10-15 overs, that gave England the early wickets that saw the Aussies achieve such a dismal total, then when they came to bat it had brightened up a bit and the pitch had dried out a bit and the ball was doing nothing off the seam

Well, New Zealand chose to bat first, ok start by England, bowlers not quite found their length yet, or rather not mixed it up enough throwing a couple in at the length where there is some movement, three good wickets taken, Plunkett with 2 of them, doing just that, England's only bowler who's been on song, with the opening bowlers going too much short stuff where it wasn't moving in the opening 10 overs and letting new Zealand get a decent start, could do with a couple more quick wickets now, come on England

Cricket, Tennis and F1. Three sports played by and watched by toffs, pretend toffs and those with lots of money.

Give me the darts over any of these any/every day.

219 - 6 off 46.5 overs, looks promising for England.

                            NZ finish on 241 - 8

Reasonable target for England to aim at.

Am I a toff? Pretend toff? Lots of money? No, No, Thrice No, Lurcio.

You would be if you were at the ground. Watching on TV doesn't count.

Could be a toughish chase, New Zealand have learnt the ball is getting movement in that area it did for England, they're trying to put it right there, up to Roy and Bairstow not to let them. Thought England's bowler's weren't at their best today, too much short stuff and not enough variation in the opening 10-15 overs, it was only really after that England's bowler's found bowling a little fuller was producing movement, so New Zealand have the benefit of that in their first 10-15. Too many sloppy wides, on a better bowling day England really should have restricted New Zealand to 210-220. Hopefully restricting them to 241 is enough and Roy, who is due a ton and Bairstow can get a really good start above the required run rate and get 150 plus without loss
