  • Been watching a BBC iplayer series "Time".
It was written by Jimmy McGovern.
Apparently he taught in Quarry Bank school.
My secondary school before I left Liverpool was West Derby High School, situated on Quarry Bank in Liverpool.

    Superb series by the way.
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

            • Just watched six episodes of "Out There" with Martin Clunes on ITV X.
A decent storyline, and what sets it apart is that it was filmed locally. Virtually on our doorstep in South Wales.
Lovely to see local towns and countryside. Llangatock, Llandovery and Llangynidr to name just a few local environments.

              • American Primeval on Netflix is really good. 6 parter set just after the US civil war.
The defining moments in our lives are never planned.

                      On Netflix.
So far up it's own arse it's embarrassing.
Why are new/modern films so piss poor?

Always been fascinated by that war since I was a kid....

                              • Been watching Gangs Of London on and off over the past few months.
Series one was decent enough, but series two and three have gone seriously downhill.
It's a SKY series. Game Of Thrones ending up going to shit towards the end. What is it about SKY failing to maintain quality?
