Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said at a news briefing on Tuesday she recognised that "these new charges may lead to speculation".

But for the Southport attack to be classed as terrorism, motivation would need to be established, according to police.

"The matter for which Axel Rudakubana has been charged under the Terrorism Act does not require motive to be established," said Ms Kennedy.

Essentially they can charge him with terrorism due to him holding ricin a toxic biological weapon, without proving a terrorist motivation and same for the terrorism manual.

To upgrade the mental health episode stabbing/slicing/murdering of children to a terrorist attack would require the police to establish a terrorist motive for the attack.

Seemingly ricin and a terrorist manual has been deemed inadequate in establishing the attack and murder of children as a terrorist attack.

It would seem there is a political neccesity to make this a Welsh teenager's mental health episode.
If they charged him with terrorism for the slicing, stabbings, injuries and murders, based on the Islamic terror manual & ricin, it would make those charged with misinformation factually correct.

It's very rotherhamesque. Looks like they've sat on the truth again to benefit their political beliefs. Islamophilic policing.

Was thinking recently that the UK might be regressing towards Victorian/pre-Victorian times. Extreme wealth on the one end of the spectrum, extreme poverty on the other. Look how many food banks there are around the UK.
The only thing preventing this is possibly the Welfare State.
Many of you will perhaps disagree, but I'm grateful we have a Labour government. If the Conservatives had a more prolonged stint in government then I could see the situation deteriorating for most of us.

Most of what I've seen ranges from negative to disturbing.

Winter fuel cuts but funding for Ukraine war, whilst having a bit of a scandal with affluent benefactors gifts on top of generous state salaries.

A man who led the CPS during Rotherham cover-ups, whose sat on information for months so that a terrorist attack could be labelled a mental health episode.

The police explaining months later, that whilst the terrorist is being charged for terrorism, on account of possession of ricin and a terrorist manual, the Southport stabbings will not be charged as a terrorist attack. As it may prove too difficult to prove terrorism as a motive in the attack. Ergo calling it a terrorist attack is misinformation/disinformation.

It seems the police have at least not accused the victims of Southport as having preyed upon the attacker.

With Rotherham etc it was proposed these young girls were luring gangs of muslims/Pakistanis to gangrape them. Because they (the gangraped girls) were racists. Remember even when gangraped they held white-privilige over their attackers...

Anyway, I'll be back campaigning for the rights of white children, and all children, on the main forum soon.

Isn't most of this just continuation of the previous government?
                      Totally agree, btw.

It has been long enough to compile a list of negative to disturbing incidents. Have you any, even 1 high point ?

Yes, in this area you, me & marty agree.

Starmer v Rishi was a low point in British politics. A trend globally/westernly.

Sir Keir Starmer doesn't want an inquiry into child rape gangs.

Former Labour MP and veterans minister, Ivor Caplin, was arrested in Brighton yesterday after a paedophile sting.

The BBC News website is still not covering this story. Strange.

I don't expect the truth from the BBC but I would expect them to cover this story as other media are.

It's interesting that they swerve it. And it's not a good look for them considering their history.
