Some quitee big announcements from Joe Biden today.
Needs to work on his speech delivery if he wants to run for presidency again. Suspect age is catching up with him.

Not been following too closely but it looked like Rishi went for a day trip and then jetted to Blackpool for the Irish summit.

It's just a talking shop, these people don't have a clue about the planet.

I would imagine the biggest culprits are USA, China and India.
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

        Correct Redebreck
Last time I looked it was China, India, USA in that order by country.
But these countries do have big / huge populations.
Biggest culprits per capita (per head of population) were Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
The lowest on the list by country were Bhutan, Suriname and Panama which are all perhaps more than 75% covered in forest and were actually lower than carbon neutral.

Politicians have said that the Ukraine war is a reason to go faster on climate measures but who is 'fuelling' the war? and what of the carbon footprint of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Syria, Yemen etc, the arms industry.

It's the economy or the Environment, and there is only one winner. COP27, 28, 29... a waste of time (and resources!)
