    Your team v Aston Villa

    .....................Alisson

    Trent.....Gomez...Van Dijk...Robertson

    .......................Fabinho

    ............Wijnaldum..............Keita

    ....Salah..........Firmino........Mane

On paper the easiest(?) of our opening 5 League games, so would really hope we can win it and be 4 from 4 prior to the Everton match.

Well Minamino ainít starting thatís for sure.
Liam Miller looks decent in the U21ís I think it is, clever, direct and knows where the goal is. Our replacements really didnít show up tonight, Reece Williams and Grujic in the second half excepted.
The consistent high level of performance from our regulars is absolutely incredible.

Not recently no way below his best but he knows noone will replace him so it doesn't matter i suppose

Origi and Minamino may aswell stay at home and practice shooting into a empty net for a few weeks in there garden

I'd swap em both for a striker that's not lazy some what consistent and scores goals to give firmino a kick up the arse

I think Minamino will do good things for us, the key things will be patience, actually getting selected and how we utilise him - 82 career goals in 290 appearances certainly shows he can score, plus he scored in pre-season and in the League Cup recently.

Firmino scoring again would be great mind, in general terms. We have a couple missing for Villa in the midfield area so I hope those who do play centrally take their chance and have cracking games to egg our attack on.

Henderson, Thiago and Matip should all be back relatively soon which opens further doors for this side.

    Agree with this team Sid.
If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.

    Any updates on injuries ?

Hard to argue with sids lineup as things/injuries stand.

It's a bit early to be resting players and we want them up to speed come the Champions league qualifiers period.
So no doubt it will be as Sid's line up ,though I'd have Jones in for Keita.

Mane out with Covid I believe

"Sadio Mane: Liverpool forward isolating after positive coronavirus test"

(hopefully won't affect us too much)
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief
