According to analysis from Deloitte's Sports Business Group, promotion to the Premier League for either club will see an increase in revenue of at least £135m, rising to £265m if they avoid relegation in their first season in the Premier League.

So yeah - absolutely massive really. Promotion is a bit like a club getting their first season of breaking into the Top Four - if it can be sustained it can completely transform a club.

Since the 1990/91 season, Brentford have lost in all nine of their play-off campaigns.

Quite amazing really, 7 of them being finals.

I really hope they do it, we've seen swansea enough lately!

and thought so sid, the money is HUGE, does make you think why they want a superleague at times! haha.

PENALTY TO BRENTFORD! Drama inside 10 minutes here at Wembley! Bryan Mbeumo makes a superb run to latch onto Sergi Canos' intuitive pass, jinks away from his marker and is dragged to ground by Freddie Woodman!

Get in toney scores the penalty obviously

Such a good pass By ex-liverpool Canos. poor by swanseas goalie though

    2-0 brentford well on top

Thomas Frank's men are coasting here!

Bryan Mbeumo is so patient as he waits for Mathias Jensen to clear the ball to him in order to mount a counter-attack. The Frenchman then feeds Mads Roerslev in the area, who spots Emiliano Marcondes arriving at the back post who enters the area and slots home the second!

Toney just hit the bar nearly made it 3-0 lmao

Wouldn't mind that toney for competition for Firmino, give em origi/miniminao haha. (think Mini would be generally good for them) (that's what we may see more in this window btw player + cash or exchange)

Yep only bad thing about brentford going up, he'll probably be over-priced as shit now, I mean if they took money + swap a few players that would improve the team and hopefully help them stay up.. could be tempted

Ayew missed a great chance just after half time, had to hit the target with that head of his but put it wide

Swansea have started a lot better, come on brentford don't be bottle jobs

They think it's all over, it is now

65: RED CARD! Swansea are two goals down and now a man down, too!

After a spell of Swansea pressure, Jay Fulton chases down a loose ball, slides into Mathias Jensen from behind and is sent for an early bath! Steve Cooper's men have it all to do now!

What a idiot, almost as moronic as their goalie for first goal.
