They were fairly camped on the edge of the box with only traore and Raul forward. Little opportunity to ping balls over the sides of them. Forced us into overplaying. Mighty frustrating to watch.

And we still should have won comfortably really

still need to mix it up, at our best, our very best, we would work the ball and our players into great counter press positions to win any second balls and undo sides by still going more direct WHEN we had players best positioned to win any second balls, and either make a break through from the ball finding it's target or creating a new point of attack and attacking very quickly and directly from the position in which we won the second ball

The beauty of that is, opposition sides can't drill or prepare their players to stop that, you can't stop it and it constantly breaks their positioning and tactical set up, creating uncertainty

We need much better, we'll see that very much during Afcon if FSG fail to sign the Monaco lad and a forward very early in January

Still, at least we're not a club like the filthy who will end up giving him the managers job one day because he scored the odd priceless goal while being otherwise very much a bit part player and incredibly disappointing like Solksjaer

Agree. They got what they deserved, playing counter attack at home is the epitomy of shithouse football.
Traore their best player having g his best game in 18 month. Still never managed a goal or an assist, I'd be gutted if we signed him.
