Didn't he get swung at himself first?
Sue FIFA collectively as players if they try and get a ban. At least it wasn't 30 years ago and Cantona having a tantrum as some twat called his ma a naughty word.
World Cup games due to be held in that country in 2 years time.

we are liverpool football club, not fucking norwich.
Once you enter the stands for any reason you’re done as far as getting a ban. It’s like a fan running into the field…gonna get charged. He didn’t help himself returning a second time and trying to hurl a chair into the stands. At least he held onto Diaz’ jersey throughout the entire episode.
Yeah- protecting your family is one thing and he has my every sympathy there, but throwing a chair into a crowd, potentially injuring innocent people can't be justified. He's a highly emotional lad which we know and emotions have spilled over.
Obviously if he had stayed onside, none of this would have happened.
Could be much, much worse.
Adebayor was caught offside 328 times in the Premier League alone - BEFORE it was using VAR.
If you play off the shoulder a lot, it will happen. Vardy has something like 270 offsides for example. David Villa once had the most offsides of any player in any League in Europe during one of his Valencia seasons.
Much more important is conversion rate - Darwin's been putting away something like 28% of his recent chances in a Uruguay shirt - that's not far off the conversion rate of Haaland in the Premier League - he just needs to translate some of it over into the English game where he has been under-performing his xG.
Just saw the footage, the absolute state of him. Gives it the big one with the muay thai boxer stance, doesn't hit anyone, then gets clobbered
To be fair, he gets hit in the face by someone who uses the person in front to hide and then slap over the top of. The footage you see of some football support is embarrassing at times. Lots of slaps and kicks which hardly look tough. Almost as bad as some of the players when things get angry🤣
There are multiple videos and I am sure some will be cut in ways to paint him in a different light, depending on the narrative the uploaded wishes to create.
He clobbers a fan wearing a no. 11 Colombia shirt in one video, looks set to throw a chair in another and is holding his son (whilst clearly recovering from having lost his temper utterly) to comfort him - and indeed himself.
He clearly has an issue with anger/emotional control - just like Suarez did. With luck the club will support him and sort him out with recommendations for the appropriate type of therapist.
