Fowler better goal per minutes stats by my count
& Darwin better on Goal-or-Assist per minutes

My favourite red. If Núñez could settle down and finish his chances like peak Fowler. He'd play all the time. At the minute it's tight for minutes up top.

Well it's just goals and goals&assists per minute.

Maybe 19 can pull the career total of shots & shots on target at LFC off the official site or elsewhere 🤔

Think he’ll be off as soon as we find someone to give us a reasonable fee or a swap deal. He doesn’t fit.

If the club do sell Nunez I can't see them getting more than 50% of what he has cost up to this point.

He struggled tonight and looks even more at odds with the game in the flesh than on TV. That said Mo should have got 2 decent passes across to him for some simple goals ( but fluffed the delivery) however I wouldn’t back Darwin to have finished them.

Mo had a below par game yet gets a goal and the breakthrough assist.

Szobo - who I criticise often was decent - Virgil is a just a massive player for us - cannot over state his importance.

I am worried about that squad. It’s shallow and lacking top quality. Who is breaking through?

    Agree with all of that.
It's concerning, an injury or two in the wrong place and it could be a nightmare scenario. All "ifs and buts" but still a concern and ultimately a big risk.
Nunez- I said a few weeks back he looks like a player who doesn't have a future. He's the opposite of Gakpo who has gone the other way, he seems re-energised and confident.

He does seem to be a player ‘on trial’ at the moment. I cant see Slot keeping him

Thought he was unlucky not to score last night. He’s got good pace so needs to hold his runs just that split second longer.

I think his main issues stems from a team play.In portugal he was the main man.Now hes expected to play as a team player with all the link up and now hew caught half and half and it doesn't work a lot of the time.

Looks low on confidence and has shown signs in some games (I can't comment on last night as I was at a talk) of still getting to grips with what the manager wants.

Thought he held the ball up well and redistributed it quickly to Salah for the first goal, but highlights only show the good bits - clear from the comments here that it wasn't his best night.

Still have faith in him - has so much in his locker - hopefully he can draw the best from himself and that Slot can work with him too.

I thought working with Marcelo Bielsa for the Uruguayan national team would have helped Darwin move forward, but it's not looking like that...
Maybe a run of games would help him settle properly into life here, but I can't see that under Slot unless there's a couple of injuries within the forward line this season...
