    Liverpool Vs Lille starting 11

    _____________Kelleher_________
    Bradley____Quansah___Konate___Tsimikas
    _______Elliot___Endo_____Jones
    Chiesa_______Jota______Darwin

Hopefully Jota isn't to series ( l know unlikely)
I'm reluctantly going for Konate to start off..No idea who can play in his place or that of Virgil's
I was gonna choose Endo, but be then short of a person to play DM..
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

I'd be loathe to start Konate given his injury history. I'd go with Endo at the back and Morton in midfield (assuming he's in the champions league squad). Diaz on the left and Darwin in the middle

Rest a few with a string bench give Nunez & Chiesa starts

    Kelleher

    Bradley Quansah Endo Tsimikas

    Elliott Morton Jones

    Salah Nunez Chiesa

Like to see better pressing & stopping this dropping off letting players run at us & advance towards & into our box

Part of why Robbo’s dropped off is he’s being asked to drop off & it’s not his game, he’s really good at pressing & keeps on his game by being on his man hassling him & stopping him picking the ball up easy & getting turned & running us

I was literally screaming at the TV for the first time in a long time yesterday, dropping off, letting them advance when we had about 5 back v their 3 & no-one went to close the player down, let him get his head up & thrn switch it & they were nearly in, happened several times & has been happening in all our games

Defenders retreating with the opposition having runners & no pressure or even attempted pressure on the ball, not fucking good enough & Slot needs to sort that out & understand both Virgil & Konate are happy 1v1 or 2v2 have our LB pushed on against their RFWD or RWB

Our play without the ball has gone downhill a lot under Slot

With the ball when the ball is on to release a player or find him in space in isolation to run his man he needs to have them play it as they used to, too many times in too many games and again yesterday we had a wide player in acres & the player in possession took another needless touch & then another & then another then passed it to the player by which time the FB was right on him as he received it

So many times from our corner we won the ball from the clearance, mostly wide/inside right, we had FOUR FUCKING PLAYERS on the shoulder all with the run on their defenders looking for the ball to be put back stick, we went sideways or backwards

I like the passing game I grew up on it, but that wasn’t the long pass or the short pass it was the right fucking pass to the right player when it was on, we pass it for the fucking sake of it far too much with too many players duping their own stats playing nothing safety dance passes

Alisson, virgil and mó are starting. We should be protecting them in this game. Hopefully they are removed early enough.

Still not fit enough? Minding him? Hopefully he comes on at half time for Mo.

Near full strength midfield as well. Would have been a good time to rest grav.

Absolute madness. Should have been a complete reserve side.

Big Virg, Mo and Grav should definitely have been rested.

And yeah, very strange with Chiesa...
