If that is a bidding war situation, we're unlikely to prevail - plus we typically like to have more data over a longer period when going for lads once we head above a certain financial threshold.
I think seeing us go for someone like Stiller is probably that little bit more realistic. He'd cost a little less (maybe £35m?) and at 23 the data analytics guys will have a clearer picture over a larger sample of games. If he was Endo's replacement we're still upgrading the squad whilst lowering the age profile of our midfield. Indeed, if Endo leaves then Salah would be the only one in our midfield or attack over the age of 30 which would be good work.
