he has a worse injury record than bradley and not exactly shone on loan

we're not in the championship, we need a new RB..... can't be counting on bradley to stay fit and playing players out of position or simply not good enough/injured all the time.. can't be taking risks like that, that's one way to fuck up any challenge.

Having not recently watched much of the French or Portuguese leagues I cannot swear to the quality of those that play in it, but having seen some footage of both Ekitike and Gyöketeres, If I had a choice between the two I'd definitely go with the latter.

Etikite can come up with some nice tricks and flicks, but his end product seems to be quite Powderpuff at times, whilst Gyökeres is much more clinical where it matters. If we bought Ekitike and as rumoured Arsenal bought Gyökeres, I'd be quite disappointed.

Frimpong would be first-choice if he came in you'd think.

Totally different mould though - tends to be ahead of the ball and receive it for rampaging attacks, versus Bradley who is a bit more "contained" overall.

Would be interesting to see the adaptations for the dynamic on the right-hand side.

Nab Guehi then - would be a better partner for Virgil imo. Better on the ball - maybe not quite as affective in some instances but net result is better.

Needs to be sorted, we're getting a reputation for letting players leave on a free..... it's pathetic these contract situations need to be done in advance, or players sold..... robertson too even though he's older, then it'll be diaz..... etc

Yep, needs to be sorted mid summer. If he isn't signing we sell and move on. Don't need another situation like trents one.

Agreed on full back. We need a replacement. I don't believe we can rely on bradley yet. Also need a left full. So potentially 3 new defenders in. Not ideal for next season to have nearly a whole new defence.
