Big opportunity for McConnell & Nyoni. McConnell has impressed me moreso in senior club football. Nyoni yet to get to his preseason level, albeit I'm going off reports from preseason.

Should be enough to get the win and hopefully see some of the kids off the bench second half.

Some pre-match rumours/bs Nyoni may play RB with Endo in midfield.

Going to be a tough game, good to see some of the youth and others

Chiesa jota and diaz should be able to carry the team, hopefully elliot puts in a good performance too

Just no fucking injuries please, especially jota and chiesa.. both of them starting, that's scary.

I'm guessing neither will play full 90 and nunez & youth player will come on when we're ahead

Looking at that side and our depth, we've done alright haven't we?

If someone told me when we had Torres (back-up was pretty much N'gog or nothing) or when we had Salah, Firmino and Mane (and back-up was Origi) that we could field three high-quality forwards as back-ups to.....three high-quality forwards.....I wouldn't have believed you.

Still more progress to make with recruitment in the market (and the Academy) as that never stops, but we haven't done badly at all.

    Hopefully a comfortable win.

Remember variation & to mix it up they play direct long but we might just surprise them looking to release LFWD & RFWD runs in behind with the odd medium to long ball
