    Other games - March 2025

With a pretty large February thread and Gary's desire to keep "super threads" to a minumum, I'll slap this up for the month of March.

Some intriguing ties lie ahead, particularly in the Champion's League.

    Tuesday 4th March

    Club Brugge v Aston Villa
    Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid
    PSV v Arsenal
    Dortmund v LOSC

    Wednesday 5th March

    Feyenoord v Inter
    Bayern Munich v Leverkusen
    Benfica v Barcelona

....and in the Premier League, the Nottingham Forest v Man City (March 8th) and Man United v Arsenal (March 9th) arguably the stand-out fixtures of the next round of fixtures.

Man City pull a lucky goal back against the mighty Plymouth in what looks like 115 seconds into 1st half added time.

Tell you what - if Plymouth managed to beat us AND Man City on an FA Cup run it would be one Hell of a story.

Fuck me, getting cheap free kicks around the box, is now the new diving for a penalty…without the scrutiny of VAR…the free kick awarded to City for their first goal is another example of Refs failing to spot even the most basic simulation…. I am sick of it tbh…

In our game against City last week, right at the end of the first half on the edge of our box, Konate has his leg planted literally planted and Mamoush extends his right leg to make contact with Konate’s static leg and then falls to the floor screaming like a girl, and the commentators blamed Konate for being careless…

No scrutiny by VAR, free kick awarded and luckily nothing came of it, but fuck me it’s becoming so prevalent now…all a player has to do is drop to the floor, simulate contact, scream like a girl and the ref just gives a free kick..regardless..

This cheating just has stop.. it’s so blatant it's truly shocking..how Refs do not see this during all of their post match analysis at Stockley Park, i will never know..

They are all truly incompetent if you ask me, it just beggars belief…
