I didn't think theirs was a penalty either. I thought Dier got the ball, then Lukaku just fell on top of him.

If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.
Captain fantastic Hendo lifts the entire Engalnd side when they were struggling desperately nad bums Belgium
A little bit of a soft pen, but the refs association need to take note, even if a bit soft, if the defender puts his hand on the players shoulder to pull him back like that at a corner when his man has escaped him and otherwise has a free header, it's a fucking penalty, last 2 seasons we could and should have had 8 or more penalties in both for that offence, all with much firmer contact than England's penalty today, I've seen Virgil and Bobby yanked back on their arses from a hand around the neck at least 8 times these last 2 seasons and nothing given, it is a fucking pen

Hendo wanted to be involved and Jurgen was very happy for him to be involved apparently so he can get more minutes towards full fitness, although that still begs the question of why Hendo wasn't on for the hapless Gomez at HT in the game v Villa to sort those headless chickens out in the press and counter press if Jurgen thinks it's fine for him to play 2 games for England, still, onwards and upwards, derby coming up, let's give the bitters their customary good bumming
I know what you mean about Southgate, the England press is absolute shite, the forwards don't press hard enough and don't make good runs in behind, I expect Hendo will be made up to be back in our team with Mane, Mo, Robbo and Trent making exceptional runs to be released, everytime he was looking to play those passes tonight the runners weren't there, Southgate really doesn't use the players he has to select from to the best of their ability
I guess he is hampered by having to play 3 at the back because there isn't a single England CB good enough to play in a 4 with 2 attacking full backs, Maguire, Gomez, Dier, Mings, Tomori, Kean none of them good enough, all just about OK if England had one great dominant CB for them to play alongside
Coady's decent and has better distribution than the others, Walker's actually better at CB for England than all of the above, which speaks volumes, shit attacking full back though
PS Anyone else get a little distracted by the Dua Lipa bird strutting her growler in her silver dress in the background?

First and foremost, Hendo needs to start in the centre against the bitters and remember to whisper "We're gonna bum you" in their captains ear in the tunnel, I feel that was very obviously missing v Villa

First half England totally outplayed by Belgium.
Belgium looked to have more players on the pitch.
343 or 541 when defending
England went with the same line-up
All the muppets on the bbc complaining about 3 right backs and southgate out.
Lol; probably now praising him. What a genius.
Belgium by far the better technical team.
But England get the 3 points with a much better second half.
Rice was excellent.
TAA looks a bit out of form and again targeted on his flank.
Mount had a better 2nd half.
Pity Grealish wasnt played instead of Mount or the poor Rashford.
*the same formation.
Yeah Rice should be our next big money Premier League English acquisition
You have to laugh at the 3 Rb's thing, Walker actually sucks as an attack FB but plays much better at CB than any of England's alleged specialist CBs and I don't rate Chilwell defensively either, I'd probably rather have Trippier there at least he can defend and he's at the right club to get even better at it, although Trent should be taking the set pieces, not Trippier

I was not aware of Roy Keane's early influence on Hendo
