All the massive sponsorship deals and tv money is all going on renewing player contracts. The average net spend of £30m a season is all that is left at the end of the year.
What about the money from the new partners who bought part of the business? ......what about FFP yes everybody had a couple of bad years but we won everything playing to packed audiences just before lockdown kicked in properly......
Apologies for the moan but it really feels like we have lost the opportunity to establish ourselves ahead of the competition. .......the vultures are circling .........Salah wont get the money he wants..... (not saying he should) but you can already feel them getting ready to cash in on him to "freshen up the squad" insetaead of introducing genuine competition for him.........
With our Global Fanbase how can Clubs like Chelsea possibly compete with us and our recent success with Financial FAIR Play?........
If you can't have moan here where caan you moan....lol
Think that money has covered the pandemic losses which is around £100m.
Klopp hinted money is there for the right player but that is a very vague comment.
Chelsea are cooking the books lets be honest that is how them and City are getting round FFP.
This season though I think Chelsea are breaking even to be fair but no way are they over the last 3 years think Lampard spent £200m last year.
The FFP has been ditched this season. A team can do what it likes. Must be due to the pandemic so clubs can do deals. ie the richer clubs can support the smaller clubs by grabbing their best players and helping the smaller clubs compensate for lack of funds.
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Well this goes to show i know absolutely nothing...lol......the article mentions some of the wages are in bonuses for our title winning streak.....buthow does that impact the contractual wage bill
?....aren't the bonuses a reflection of the extra money broght in from Champions league and EPL etc?

There are a number of players in the squad that need replacing rather than just adding numbers on top of what we have.
Ox, Keita and Origi should be pretty easy to replace contribution wise but getting them out of the club when on such high wages is the major difficulty. Not sure who is going to pay the club the size of fee we would want and then pay the wages on top, they are not going to be of many clubs who could actually afford to take them.
