Social media, particularly when it comes to football, is largely a puddle of curdled ejaculate.

All he needs to do is keep working, keep making the runs and bury some of the chances.

People forget how often Torres would get caught offside or the number of games where people would say "f**k sake, how many chances does Mo need?" etc

Shame he couldn't convert the one taken out of the sky - keeping an eye on the keeper and getting contact is really difficult in a situation like that.

    DONKEY.

at Ł70m it’s a sackable offence. klopp should never be allowed to pinpoint a player. just not his skillset.

quite simply the biggest flop in lfc history.

Only made the goal for Salah in the last game and did the hard yards to get a probable winner in the Villa match, with only a few months in a disjointed, injured set-up and barely any English.

But sure, bigger flip than Diouf, Aquilani, Degen, Carroll, Benteke, Assaidi, etc.....

There isn’t - not close to be honest. These are bad misses showing dreadful technique. And despite not playing that many games for us - he has quite a collection of them, He added a fair few more today.

His finishing is woeful at times. This is not the same as saying he is shit btw. Look at today - got the MOTM… he wasn’t really worthy of it to be honest but he was up there. His work rate and ability to affect the opposition defenders and keeper are very effective.

But IF he can just add that clinical edge / then we have something special.

He need to work on it. Anyone saying different is living in denial. And I don’t mean that river…

I think both Luis and mo were terrible finishers in their first season. Sadio too. And both mo and Sadio have had howlers of a game since.

Mo scored 32 league goals or something though. Nunes is miss kicking the ball like a Sunday league player in a high percentage of his chances. It’s not the same thing as being a poor finisher. He’s literally scuffing the ball.

In his first 44 League games for Liverpool across a season and a half, Luis Suarez got 15 League goals.

    Then he exploded upwards.

    People should give Darwin time.

We have to be balanced and call a spade a spade. Regardless of how much Sid gets upset with Social Media..

    Darwin Nunez
    He works - yes
He affects the game - yes
His composure in front of goal often stinks - yes.

    No point pretending otherwise

Comparing his technique to Suarez - well that displays a lack of knowledge of the game imo. Suarez was up there with the very best. Different gear.
