He needs to get a goal in his back garden and practice and practice and practice finishing, all kinds of finishing

He needs to study what Mane used to do so effectively, get help and a compilation from our alleged video analysis team with a showreel highlighting Mane's movement and cues from Trent or Hendo receiving the ball on the right for when to make his movement and outside in runs and runs off the back of his full back in behind their RCB

Practice coming in on his right and having a variety of finishes until he can do so clinically

Learn when he can win the header from a diagonal v the defender and the art of jumping with the defender and doing enough to stop them getting an effective clearing header so we can win the second ball as a new point of attack as Mane, far shorter than him used to do so with such unerring consistency

If he can improve all of that, he will be an incredible player

First touch and finish were perfect today, following on from his superb run and assist last time out.
He makes things happen and will only get better.

He doesn't struggle with what he did today - absolutely twatting it towards the net.

Where he will need to improve in time is the Henry/Torres type finishes - the curled instep into the corner and the gentle dink as the keeper begins to go down in a one-on-one.

I think he's brilliant mind. I absolutely love watching him. Completely different level of crazy to someone like Suarez (who did stuff I simply can't compute) but crazy all the same. Football brings a lot of drugs along once in a while and the wildfire of panic that Núñez can strike into opposition defenders once he gets motoring is something I want injected into my veins.

He is a player the opposition shite their pants with, he is so fast and so direct, it is impossible to contain him. He is arguably even more of a foil for Salah than Mané was. Only difference is - Salah isn’t quite the player he was.

If Darwin can add the finishing that we saw today to his game… he becomes a monster forward

Nunez is a complete forward who possesses great pace, skill, and strength, making him a difficult player to defend against. He is a clinical finisher who is capable of scoring from both inside and outside the penalty box. His positional awareness and movement off the ball are excellent, which allows him to create space for himself and his teammates.

He has already shown maturity and composure beyond his years, both on and off the pitch. He has a great work ethic and is always looking to improve his game, which bodes well for his future development.

With his raw talent and potential, Nunez has the ability to become one of the best strikers in the Premier League in the coming years. I have high hopes for him, and if he continues to develop at his current rate, he could be a key player for the club for many years to come.

Good video Sid. And yes. As we all know, the lad has all the tools. If he can get that finishing going too, we are looking at a monster.
