Couldn’t give less of a fuck this year at the minute. Very poor summer so far

    Leaving it very late again.
Or we end up singing someone that's out of contract and free.. Ox Chamberlain maybe?

Let’s stop messing about and get Arthur back on loan. We’re not in the same league as the big boys. One or two injuries and the seasons over.

Not true, how and who we used in midfield including bizarrely trying to go the designated playmaker route with a squad of players whose success was built on 'the team' making the play and frequently doing so from several positions with quick, incisive and often direct passing immediately after possession was regained rather than the laboured, lethargic, easy to press and predictable overplaying playing almost exclusively in front of teams we saw far too much of last season was our biggest issue

Despite the arrivals of Mac Allister and Szoboszlai I can certainly understand - looking at the outs as a list looks a bit unsettling on paper with the lower number of ins.

Ox, Keita, Fabinho, Henderson, Milner, Melo, Firmino, Carvalho, Clarkson, probably Phillips as well.

Clarkson didn't play though, Melo had 13 League minutes, Ox and Keita both had something like 10 games worth of playing time each I'd guess, Carvalho maybe around 12 games - I'd need to Google and ain't doing so just now from a phone when getting ready to walk the dogs - but if I'm ball-park right on those numbers then that's 5 players with a combined total of about 30-33 games - so I certainly don't feel a need for 5 arrivals to replace those 5 lads.

Would certainly like 2 arrivals though for the picture to look better. DM and a CB probably the 2 spots I'd recruit for and if it was a choice between that and 2 midfielders I'd probably stick to one DM and a CB - personal preference. Also if they were 24-or-under the "future-proofing" aspect of a squad rebuild would have us looking very healthy, as we'd only have Alisson, Van Dijk, Matip, Thiago and Salah left who were 30-or-over, albeit Robertson turns 30 soon.

So a centre-back in who would replace one of Matip or Van Dijk in time and a midfielder in ahead of Thiago's probable departure next season would help maintain a good age-lowering trajectory.

Im still confused at the owners who clearly stated we were going to have a huge summer in transfers this summer,, including an inkling at the Bellingham. Bellingham would be upwards of 100 million.. we have spent around 35 million+ with ins and outs in transfers and wages. so where exactly is this money we were told was going to happen? we cant even spend another 5 million on Lavia.
our owners dont give a fuck about us winning. its simply about not spending so when they fuck off they cant take billions with them. Make me sick the way they have treated the fans.
