Im still confused at the owners who clearly stated we were going to have a huge summer in transfers this summer

I highly doubt that - journalists might have said such things, but an owner outright saying "we're going to have a huge summer" would be the most ill-judged, Man United-esque move going - you don't tell the World you have a big transfer budget, you'll just get rinsed.

If you have links to the relevant quotes I'd be really keen to read them - and if they were as clearly stated as you claim they will no doubt be very easy to find.

I rather imagine there's stuff they've said like "Manager will be backed" or "Manager has our full support" or "we will continue to invest wisely" but would just be amazed if they were daft enough to say "huge summer in transfers" as you have stated.

Not true, how and who we used in midfield including bizarrely trying to go the designated playmaker route with a squad of players whose success was built on 'the team' making the play and frequently doing so from several positions with quick, incisive and often direct passing immediately after possession was regained rather than the laboured, lethargic, easy to press and predictable overplaying playing almost exclusively in front of teams we saw far too much of last season was our biggest issue

Last season we had:

1. Thiago (you said isn't good enough)
2. Fabinho (you said isn't good enough)
3. Hendo (you said is good enough)
4. Jones
5. Ox (always injured)
6. Keita (always injured)
7. Artúr (Sure)

I won't include elliot.

In a few comments they have made. they made it appear one of our signings was going to be Bellingham..I dont fing understand why we cant get a couple more players in.. The Lavia transfer has been laughable to say the least.

This season we are even lacking in grown men bodies.

Strung everyone along with the Bellingham transfer. Not direct fsg quotes but plenty of soundbites to the media. Then to say it's too expensive. Everyone knew it wad gonna be 100mil plus.

We wasted last year not getting the midfield sorted, then brought in Artúr as a panic signing. So far going into this season we are worse off in midfield and defence is also worse off.
