Not a transfer, just a possible solution for a (minor) squad role - would anyone back Jarell Quansah to take the role of 5th-choice centre-back ahead of Nat Phillips? Or does he need a other year of development first?

I don't think anyone has seen enough of him to make a proper judgment tbh...
He is quite a unit though....
He certainly has something to him, but the first team is always a big step up...
Offender Of The Offended...!!
It`s Better To Reign In Hell, Than Serve In Heaven!
No doubt - but given that we have seen Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips in the first-team for short spells before (under desperate circumstances, but still) I wonder if he could make the jump.
As 5th-choice he wouldn't have to play much unless we were desperately unlucky and even then it wouldn't/shouldn't be for a long spell.
Naturally not looking him to become 3rd/4th-choice for this season as that would be a very alarming set of circumstances - but if anyone thought he was comparable, ability-wise, to someone like Nat I would be curious - he's a player I know absolutely nothing about.
His big plus is that he's LCB...
Big club my arse
Offers for Fabinho and Jordan Henderson proved too hard to turn down and it has left the Reds scouring for further midfield reinforcements with less than a month left in the transfer window.
With further signings yet to be confirmed, Liverpool currently have the smallest squad in the Premier League, according to Transfermarkt.
They list 22 players for the Reds’ first team, 14 less than Man United who have the most players in their squad with 36.
And quite a few of the 22 are youngsters you wouldn't really start in a first x11 going for any silverware...
In europa this season too......
fucking joke, get the yanks out fucking cunts
How sad is that. "Too hard to turn down". Even if it's to the detriment of everything they're trying to achieve, the pounds overrule everything.
It's a long time since I've felt so fucking depressed about the state of LFC,our stock has never been higher yet we have owners behaving like we're a fucking small business trying to stay afloat.
It really does feel like we're heading towards a H and G spell.
