This fee was not possible without the Saud money

You must be really happy the local residents retain some greenage in the locality
Yes after selling it to housing developers Torus they have since bought it back for the women..Carra and Fowler involved. Both connected to the club - hence why you cannot believe a word they say about it.

I bet the residents are happy at least.. Should never have been sold at all. Should have been donated to the community as use for the families that live there.. Fat chance of that though. Women's football is going to be lucrative..

Without doubt. But at least the money was put to use. We could have signed Lavia and they could have pocketed the rest...

Assuming we do end up with Caicedo (no chicken counting yet), I would say it's been a really good window and we're in good shape going into the new season. We'll have revamped our forward line and midfield in the last few windows, wit hthe back line to come in future windows.

    Gakpo
    Nunez
    Diaz
    Mac
    Szobo
    Caicedo
    Konate

All at a good age going into future seasons.

Good stuff. Nice to see Carra the company man pushing back a bit.

I wouldn't bet on women's football being lucrative. More a corporate finance dictat.

It still could be that all we have done is find the asking price for Chelsea.

He isn’t doing his medical yet.

The situation remains unpredictable. Brighton had set a deadline on Thursday night for bids and said they would take the highest one. It is unclear whether Chelsea have left it too late.

As you said earlier, it's all BS till deals are announced officially.
Though it wouldn't be a great pr stunt to get hopes up and then deflate. Not seen much of this caicedo lad but he seems very highly rated by many fans.

Normally when we agree a few with a club, the player is immediately on his way for a medical.
The club has said the medical is not yet booked, that would suggest to me the player is not 100% sold on the idea and may be waiting to see if Chelsea want to match our fee.

Spot on Miller. Sky Sports reporting that the player is having 2nd thoughts and wants to see if Chelsea are willing to match.

And Klopp also came out with a couple of German sayings equivalent to not counting chickens etc

He said agreement with clubs yes but we want the player (to agree).
