Isn't it a bit desperate, that we could be starting the season with a completely new midfield three?
How long will it take for the midfield to integrate?
Nobody remaining from the past five seasons!?

Maybe we knew Chelsea would sign Caicedo but we wanted to delay the deal so he couldn't play against us. Small margins.

Isn't this a good thing? Everyone said none of the midfield were up to the job last season...

    Mac
    Caicedo
    Thiago
    Szobo
    Jones
    Bajcetic

Think we have both enough quality and enough bodies with that group of midfielders.

    Without Caicedo less so...

2 played together at a team that play high pressure, possession attacking football. They played as a 2 or a 3 so know each other. McAlister gelled with his national team who are a highly technical footballing nation.

We are ready. If Caicedo comes.

    Pearce:

Klopp on Caicedo: "I can confirm that a deal with the club has been agreed."

"We aren't a club with endless resources and we didn't expect a couple of things to happen this summer."

Klopp: "I saw lots of things where my thoughts were 'we mean business'. My good feeling is based on the things I saw and the things we did in pre-season."

He's having 'second thoughts' about the move to Liverpool now.
    Christ we've fallen far.

And he has been talking to Chelsea all window, agreeing terms and probably looking at property in London.
Currently you don’t move to Chelsea for football reasons, it’s London, money or both.
