True enough. Maybe Chelsea have made him a daft offer, something that was always gonna happen. We were never winning a cash battle with them.
It's all odd, sudden 111m bid for a player we've shown zero interest in for that last 8 months.

I don't think Klopp is in the dark. I'm sure he knows exactly what's going on, hour by hour. His frustration, if any, will be at a player/agent backtracking on their word. I doubt he's pissed at FSG bidding £111m.

There's a lot more clever people at LFC dealing with transfers than you or I. To think they made an offer over £100m without doing due diligence is deluded. It's very easy to criticise from here when none of us have a clue what's going on behind the scenes. Maybe wait and see how it plays out.

Brighton can't force Caicedo to move to LFC though. He can do what he wants.

The more I think about Klopp’s wording, tone and body language, the whole Press Conference chat was an FSG PR exercise forced on Klopp.
