We have Klopp and he has his players, up against Pep and his players.
Can't believe you retreat to the net-spending after posting those tables of net spend.
Over the last 5 years:
1) Chelsea: £-673.62m
2) Manchester United: £-608.9m
6) Manchester City: £-314.28m
9) Liverpool: £-218.29m
● Real Madrid €-173.85m
Arguably the last 5 years are more prescient
Since 2014
1. United: €-1.326bill
6 Liverpool: €-451.86m
● Real Madrid
Since 14/15 €-193.15m
Since 13/14 €-255.15m
CC - you surely do understand what Makes Real completely different to us or City or United Right?
They spent more than any club ever did over a prolonged spell. They are the original Galacticos. This and the massive winning machine that they have been especially in Europe has put them in the unique position of selling players for massively inflated fees and buying them for less than the going rate.
They are the club most players would take a wage cut for. You must know this I am sure.
Are you suggesting that Real’s net spend over that period would have worked for City? For us? for anyone else?
City themselves can now enjoy lower net expenditure because they spent the big bucks for years and have amassed a huge number of titles. They can now sell for bigger fees than they are buying at. This is how it works.
This is what happens
when you start to monopolise. Serial winners - the teams that win and win and win. See Bayern for more evidence.
Bayern is the same has Celtic/Rangers.. they have zero competition. it will be their 11th league in a row if they win again.
Man-city will drop off a bit eventually all teams do in our league..
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
so CC here is Real - despite so much a small net spend since 2014 - WAY above us.

This is since 2000 too - go back further and Real will jump up higher and higher in that list. You cannot use their misery net spend to justify it as a method to winning. It ONLY worked for them because they had already spent the most and won the most.
