I can understand the Nunez ommission. He ran himself into the ground on Sunday. So I'm also surprised that Diaz is playing as so did he.

Think (hope) we might see Kaide Gordon later on. Coming back from a pretty bad injury. He looks to me like he has physically grown and bulked up too. Might see him in the Salah role later.

Elliott shouldn’t be starting he isn’t a FWD with Mo set to be missing you’d have thought it would make sense to start with Diaz at RFWD after he finished the last game better there than he’s performed at LFWD in a very long time
